This record finally moved me to comment on BC. It's BM that ticks a lot of genre boxes (notably, doom atmospheric & raw BM, DSBM) without feeling disjointed, and it flies by despite it's length.
The drums are deceptively complex without diverting attention from the songs themselves and have an open, organic quality that offers a raw feel without sacrificing production.
Atmospheric beauty guides the sound, but brutality lurks as well in the form of a frigid mountaintop wind.
Favorite track: Frost.
